Hello, Lovesters 💛
Life has a funny way of giving us moments to pause, reflect, and sometimes wonder: what would I tell my younger self if I could go back in time?
We’ve been thinking about this a lot lately, and we want to share not just our thoughts, but our journey as a band — a journey that is, in many ways, a second chance for all of us.

If We Could Meet Our 5-Year-Old Selves
If you could meet your 5-year-old self today, what would you say? This question is simple, yet powerful. It forces you to reflect not only on your past, but on what truly matters.
Ako? I’d tell him:
Spend more time with Dad.
His quiet wisdom holds answers you’ll spend years trying to find on your own. Dad won’t always be here, and those small conversations — the advice, the stories, the laughter — they matter more than you realize.
Tell Mom to stay.
Her presence, her daily care, her love, is more valuable than any gift or opportunity she might chase abroad. Life doesn’t need a lot of material things — it needs togetherness.
Play with your siblings.
Childhood is fleeting. Life will take you all on different paths, and the moments you share will become memories that can never be repeated. Treasure them while you can.
Stay away from bad company.
Not everyone has your best interests at heart. Some friends may teach you habits or habits that only hurt you later. Protect your peace and your heart.
Take care of yourself. You matter.
You will encounter people who try to take advantage of your kindness. Moments will come when you doubt your worth. But you are enough — always have been, always will be.
Follow your dreams.
Don’t waste your time chasing the expectations of others. Your happiness, your fulfillment, your purpose — it all comes from listening to the calling in your own heart.
Be true to yourself.
The world will try to mold you into someone smaller, quieter, easier to understand. Don’t let it. When you stay true to yourself, you are powerful, grounded, and free.

Second Chances Aren’t Just Reflections — They’re Real
For us in RMD, this idea of second chances isn’t just reflection — it’s our reality.
Music has become our second chance. It’s the space where we can finally return to what we were always meant to do: to follow our God-given talents and express ourselves authentically. After years of responsibilities, routines, and following paths laid out by circumstance, the band has given us the freedom to create, to explore, and to connect — not just with each other, but with all of you.
Every rehearsal, every song, every late-night brainstorming session is part of this second chance. It’s a reminder that no matter how far we’ve wandered from our original dreams, it’s never too late to reclaim them.

What This Means for Our Journey
When you commit to following your calling, you quickly realize it’s not easy. It’s full of long days, responsibilities, and sacrifices. Some of us juggle careers, some are students, some have family obligations. Yet despite everything, we choose this path every day. Because this isn’t just about music — it’s about purpose, expression, and living authentically.
For example, one of our members is balancing the demands of school while still giving their all to the band. Some of us are managing day jobs, family responsibilities, and even side hustles — and yet, we always return to music. Not because we have to, but because we want to. This is our passion.
Every song we play, every lyric we write, every piece of content we create is a reflection of our journey toward authenticity and clarity. It’s a way of saying to the world — and to our younger selves — that it’s okay to pursue what matters most, even if it took longer than expected.
The Lessons We’ve Learned
Through this journey, we’ve learned some essential truths:
It’s never too late to follow your heart.
Life may have delayed us, but it never denied us. Every step, even the wrong ones, has prepared us for this moment.
Clarity comes from reflection.
Looking back, we see patterns, lessons, and moments that shaped who we are today. Reflection isn’t about regret — it’s about understanding and growth.
Your purpose doesn’t expire.
God-given talents, dreams, and passions are always within you. Even if life pushes you aside, they wait for the moment when you’re ready to answer the call.
Authenticity is your power.
When you are true to yourself, you become unshakable. The world may try to sway you, but your foundation is firm.

How Our Music Connects to This
Every song we create — whether it’s an original or a cover — is an extension of this belief. 41 67, for example, isn’t just a song about uncertainty in love; it’s a reflection of the broader journey toward understanding, growth, and self-respect.
Our upcoming projects, are infused with this same principle. We choose songs that resonate with emotions like guilt, hope, forgiveness, and clarity — the very emotions that define human experience and the journey of second chances.
Through our music, we hope to remind you, our Lovesters, that it’s never too late to:
Reconnect with your dreams.
Choose yourself.
Follow your calling.

An Invitation to Reflect
So, now it’s your turn.
What would you tell your 5-year-old self? Which dream have you put aside that deserves a second chance?
We want to hear from you. Share your reflections in the comments, or simply take a moment to sit with them in your own heart. Our hope is that these stories — yours and ours — create a ripple of reflection, encouragement, and inspiration.
Because at the end of the day, our journey as a band, our music, and our connection with all of you is about more than performance. It’s about living authentically, embracing second chances, and finding clarity in the moments that matter.

Lovesters, remember:
It’s never too late to say yes to yourself. To your dreams. To your purpose.
Your calling is waiting — all you have to do is take the leap.
